RTFC SeriesTransparent Fireproof Intumescent Coating Painting Tutorial
1.Preparing the Surface:
Clean and smooth the wood or other base surface. Remove any impurities and treat any areas needing repair. For processed wood surfaces carry out sanding or run a sample test.
2.Mixing the Paint:
Combine the A and B components of the fireproof coating at a 15:9 ratio. Be sure to mix thoroughly and use the blend within about 30 minutes.
3.Applying the Coating:
Choose brushing, rolling, or spraying for application based on your needs, and apply the coating evenly on the surface. Mix in water if needed, and apply a second coat after the first has dried. If necessary, add a specialty varnish after the coating has fully dried and cured.
4.Environment and Drying:
Ensure good ventilation and avoid construction below 10 degrees Celsius or above 80% humidity. Prevent water vapor and dust condensation, and let dry for 24 hours.
RTFC Series Transparent Fireproof Intumescent Coating Storage and Transportation Guidelines.
Storage and transportation guidelines for transparent fireproof expanding coating must be followed to ensure its performance and quality remain unaffected:
Storage Conditions:
Store the coating in a dry, well-ventilated environment, away from open flames and heat sources.
Avoid exposure to direct sunlight or extreme temperature conditions to prevent degradation of quality and performance.
Maintain storage temperature between 5°C to 25°C to prevent excessive heat or cold.
Shelf Life:
The product has a shelf life of 6 months from the date of production under proper storage conditions.
Packaging:
Component A: 15kgs per bucket, Component B: 9kgs per bucket.
The coating should be stored in its original packaging, ensuring the packaging is intact and tightly sealed to prevent leakage or contamination.
Transportation:
During transportation, take appropriate protective measures to prevent the coating from being subjected to severe vibrations or compression, thus avoiding leakage or damage to the packaging.
Protect the coating from freezing, rain, and direct sunlight during transportation.
These guidelines ensure the quality and performance of the transparent fireproof expanding coating are maintained during storage and transportation.
