Introduction
RESSA rigid box fireproof intumescent seal strip with brush and fins design, provide a fire and smoke seal for fire rated timber and metal fire doors edges and frames. Products are suitable for fire doors leafs or frames in single and double action, single or double doors. The standard length is 2.1m lengths and are quick and easy to fit as no special tools are required.

Application

Installation Instructions
1. Select the appropriate seal using the door test evidence, which will identify the size intumescent seal required.
2. The seal needs to be located centrally in either the door leaf or frame.
3. Rout a groove suitable for the size of intumescent seal selected. Clean and remove any dust. Remove the self-adhesive backing liner from the product and push fit into the routed groove.
4. To achieve excellent adhesion seals must be applied to clean, dry surfaces at temperatures between +5℃ and +40℃.
